About:

This is a two quarter phlebotomy certificate designed to provide individuals with the theoretical background and manual skills required for accurate blood collection using a range of intrusive procedures.

Through classroom activities, hands-on lab projects, and an externship in a community hospital, clinic, or medical office; students will learn how to collect, handle, and analyze specimens using applicable standards and regulations.

The program also promotes professional ethics, teamwork, and communication skills to help prepare individuals for entry-level phlebotomy positions.
